-Here's my pet project, it's built to wartime specification and is hand cut and not CNC milled. There are quite a few 109 panels out there but what is different about mine is that the whole panel is fully functioning (including the electric horizon) and I will be setting it up so that the electrics and pitot and static system are replicated on the back of the wooden base in a condensed form so that I can 'run' the whole panel.
I am most excited about obtaining a Fuhrertochterkompass so that I can wire it into my Mutterkompass and have a working kompass system but this wont be happening for a little while. I have more items on the way but as the panel is on storage at the moment I won't have access to it for a while :(

-If anyone has some Luftwaffe yellow cable to hand and would like to do some measurements of core size and outside diameter I would be most appreciative! I do have some cable but it is packed away in storage too! I am looking to find a modern replacement to wire the panel up with.
Thanks
Matt

-Vampire Panels
Hello. I have recently had some good fortune in obtaining a set of bare Vampire instrument panels and a stick top so i will try to mount them in their appropriate positions for display and obtain the missing parts.
A couple of instruments came with the panels but only one is intact, a 5c1009undercarriage gauge, but this needs a set of nine bulbs, they are missing from the gauge. Any idea where some could be found please?
Other bits needed to plug the holes are the following:
De-icer hand pump
Guns firing pushbutton from the D type stick grip
A right hand control box for a single seat Vamp
Please if anyone has or knows of anything which is available please do come forward.
Thanks you and atb
rod
happy to post post photos if someone will explain how!

Guys,
Due to the size of the original Aircraft Cockpits thread, I have had to close it down and create a new one.
The old one can be seen via this link for reference:
