-Not an iPhone user but until someone with more knowledge comes along here's some info...
If the phone is network unlocked then she could stick any sim in it. Or you could buy one from vodafone if it's cheaper.
As for iPhone, the app would probably work on all of the more recent phones. The iPhones all use the same oprating system, just the newer ones use newer versions.

Looking to buy SWMBO a new mobile for Christmas, in particular one that will let her send texts in Thai script. I'm thinking of an I-phone and then downloading an app to get the Thai keyboard, but haven't a clue which model we'd need. Also, she currently has a contract with Vodafone, so would she just be able to take the SIM out of her current handset and just put it in an I-phone and go? Sorry if this all seems a bit basic, but as you will have gathered, mobiles are not really my "thing" Searched on Tinterweb, but just getting more and more confused. Thanks for any advice or guidance.
