-ive met Bob a couple of times in the past. how tragic and what a great shame as they lost an instructor a few years ago when a Cessna crashed into the Berwyn mountains with the loss of i think all 4 on board.

this time it was up at Lake Vyrnwy in Wales.
i know the hotel and area well. its up on a hill over looking the Lake as is the heli landing pad, thats behind the hotel and is slightly higher. there are hills all round except on the lake facing side where the ground drops of sharply. you dont stop until you hit the bottom.
both occupants walked away with cuts n bruises and are back home now. the R22 (which was borrowed) is still there as a burnt out shell .
