-This video doesn't really capture just how loud it is tanking off a Rhino. When you have the hose pushed forward enough to cause good flow, it is extremely loud as the cans are probably only 10-15 ft away from your face. Just a random anecdote for what its worth :)

-35 AoA,
Have you or anyone you know tanked off a USMC KC-130 (legacy or J-model) yet? If so, how was that?

Yes, I have tanked off a KC-130J out of Miramar. It was fine......kind of weird having another guy on the other wing tanking at the same time, and at that point in my career, I was sort of hamfisted with tanking so it was probably startling for others :) I'd place the KC-130, the OMEGA 707, and the Rhino all about at equal levels in terms of difficulty. The downside to the KC-130 is that they love to run the tanker track at like 215-220 kts, which is pretty slow for the Hornet with the flaps up......so you have a little bit more of an issue with engine spool up, and not being able to decel as easily. Not hard though....it is a real soft basket and you can really ram it in there without fear of breaking anything. Though I do know a guy who got to buy the Herk crew a couple cases of beer after he broke their basket onto his probe.
