Hi All;

Not being clued up much on civil aviation, I thought I would pop over from the historic forum to ask a question...

My wife is flying out from Bristol today and I thought I would drive the kids over to wave her off from outside the fence. I have a flight number, but just so me and the kids aren't waving like idiots at the wrong plane, is there a way to tie up a reg to a flight number? If so, the flight number is FR7786 and departs at 17:45. Any expert opinions gratefully received!

Thanks in advance;

Regards;
Steve

Look here and you should see it.

http://www.flightradar24.com/

Check the settings so it shows reg as well as number but the FR number might be different to the RYR number shown on the map it will show the FR number if you click on it....a side pane will come up with details.

You can then follow the flight if you want.

Hi Garry;

Thanks for the heads up on Flight 24. Will I be able to get that info before the flight departs, as we will be driving over from Weston to Bristol to watch the aircraft depart. Added bonus of being able to track the flight all the way to it's destination though!

Thanks for the reply!

Hope all goes well

Later you can replay the flight for about a month.

So you can show her when she gets back.

I recently went Gatwick-Helsinki and return and afterwards I could look at the track to see exactly what I'd seen from the window.
