-J85 was originally qualified for use with JP-4 (NATO F-40), which is a kerosene/naptha based blend.
I suspect GEAE has provided instructions to re-trim the J85 so it can use JP-8 (NATO F-44) or Jet A/Jet A-1, which are kerosene based.

Sorry for the strange question but what type of jet fuel did F-5Es use? The reason I'm asking is because back in the mid-1970's a certain air force faced delays in getting its newly delivered F-5Es up and running because the fuel used by the F-5Es were different than that used by its Avon Sabres which the F-5Es were intended to replace. Thank you.
