-Igor Sikorsky was one (if not the) most important helicopter inventors. His name liveth for ever more. The S92 being the latest creation from the factory that bears his name in the grand old US of A.

Many years ago, whilst I sat in a presentation by a very upbeat and informative Sikorsky representative to the UK Search and Rescue forum I could not but feel that the wish was that this was to be our future Sea King replacement (not Merlin!). Some of this wish now appears to be true!

This thing flew over our house the other day, bloody noisy it was n all! It was not particularly low but my god the noise! I thought the roof was coming off!
