-From their Face book page "She will be painted as JX-B of 1 Sqn".

-She'll look good whatever colours, but I would love to see one of the Hurricanes in the scheme worn by 111 at Northolt pre war, and how about the Spitfire Mk II painted in prototype colours, or in overall white as a PR MkIV?
They would make a nice change from the usual schemes.

-They've done a SEAC scheme on PZ865. Wholly appropriate to keep LF363 in a BoB scheme IMHO.

-As mentioned above she is going to wear the colours of Mk1 P3395 JX-B flown by Pilot Officer A.V Clowes during the Battle of Britain, complete with wasp motif underneath the exhaust stubs. If memory serves me right, i think that the standard practice on the flight is that one of the Hurricanes always depicts a Battle of Britain aircraft.

-Fingers crossed this will work.

Would be nice to have the patina as well.

-As far as I can see any scheme that the types flew in in their service careers is appropriate as the remit is to provide a flying memorial for all aircrew, not just BoB crews. :-) That said, I don't disagree with the policy to keep one Hurricane in BoB era markings at all times.

-When LF363 was rebuilt, it was stated at the time that they would use it to depict BoB Hurricanes, and the other to depict Hurricanes from other different theatres. Accordingly, LF gave up her cannon mounts in the wings to PZ.

-When you post a serial number it might be nice to say what type of aircraft it appertains to!

-Just type LF363 into google. Google is also useful for finding out if the missed call is a scam, just type in the phone number.

-Yes I know all about scams and how to detect them. If the OP just put Hurricane in the title it would make life easier!

If that's the case they should have taken the opportunity to build the replica LF363 as a more appropriate Mk I Hurricane after the original was destroyed in the crash and fire.

-I'm sure Bruce will be along in a moment to tell us all that a significant amount of original structure was re-used in the 'reborn' LF363, making it more of a restoration than a replica. Although having said that I saw significant portions of original wing structure in the Norfolk and Suffolk Air Museum at Flixton the other day, and other parts ended up in the CBFS composite Hurricane they are building up, eventually to be in taxiable condition.
