-If you go to watch departure beware of the 50000 others going to the Download festival tomorrow as well

-Don't worry about the traffic, I live in Donington and the way Download runs now you don't get problems, they open the gates on Wednesday, so they arrive over a few days before the concert starts, so you do not have traffic jams.

Was that down the A453?
We parked there for a few minutes, and then we noticed that the local Plod had slapped parking tickets on several cars...
In the end, we went to Kegworth Cemetery (only a couple of people there), where I got a few good shots of the '225 overflying the memorial to BD092.
I shall be back there tomorrow, early. This time I shall be on my mountain bike.
Look out for a balding, middle-aged man in Lycra; I don't bite, so if you see me, feel free to say "Hi!" ;)

-The A453 ones will be to stop Download falks parking, they will be the ones with the tickets, they used to ticket them in Donno if they parked half on the curb even if no lines, if they parked on the road normally they were not touched.
Ones on grass yesterday on sunken road into Donno, coned off to stop them this morning so today they simply pulled onto the grass and lined the fence from the aeropark roundabout..

-Great shots, Tony! :eagerness:
To avoid any hassle, my partner dropped me off at the W end, where I climbed the bank, and got some good shots of both the '225 and C-130.
While he was away, I spoke to a Parking Enforcement Officer. He stated that "we wouldn't normally bother ticketing cars here, but at the moment we are due to the Download festival."
We then made our way to the opposite end and awaited Mriya's departure. Got a few decent shots, but I doubt if they are as good as yours!

-Thank you, I am sure yours will be just as good, the advantage of working "airside" :very_drunk: though to be honest I still have a damn fence in the way for taxying shots, it ends about 10 foot to far along :(

-How does one find out where this fabulous aircraft is going? I've missed it a few times.
