Anybody got any blow down bottles with valves:

Dunlop AH8512

would fit Heron/Dove amongst others.....

My last lot went a couple of years ago (I think I had about 14 of them at one time)I [I]may[I] have some detail spares, but they would be somewhere in the pile.

It might be worth giving Devonair a try but I wouldn't hold out much hope in finding any complete ones.

If I remember correctly the Dove/Heron bottles are larger than the original Spitfire type. However, they are fitted and preferred due to the larger capacity. We too are after one, possibly two, if available.

After a few years, the hydraulic fluid weeping from the shuttle valves gets into them, and knackers the valve. I've found a few in my time, but other options are available.

Yes, a blow down bottle for a Cessna 310 will work, as will certain emergency oxy bottles for ejection seats. They are all getting scarce though.

What's a Devon/Dove one worth- we're selling our Dove and it may get parted out if there's no interest in it as a whole.

LOL, not a fortune - couple of hundred quid - it will need recertifying in any case.

A 310 bottle wont work, they have electric undercarriage :))) , maybe 402 C series as they went to hyd gear, cheers, Pete
