It has been reported that Antonov AN-12 UR-DWF crashed in Algeria 30 Aug, sadly with the loss of the 7 crew. It was said to be carrying oil equipment from Prestwick (departed there 29 Aug) to Equatorial Guinea. Two tech stops were involved and it crashed shortly after take off from the second of those locations, Tamanrasset. This two tone blue and white aircraft was a frequent visitor to UK airports. :apologetic:
