-There is no single, clearly true, list: the 3 books you need conflict and contradict: you will spend much time and lose much hair:
P.Butler,Air Arsenal N.America,MCP,2004
K.J.Meekcoms/E.B.Morgan, Br.Air Comm.&Lend-Lease, Air-Britain, 2001

Gents,
Hopefully knowledgeable british folks would wish to help. I have been going through some interesting reading regarding French purchases of US aircraft between 1938-1940. There are some comprehensive figures available as for instance here:
http://www.1940lafrancecontinue.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1572&sid=882e362fb95d46c56d6b22c1fb8a29a5
Also there are figures for what has been delivered before the armistice (can be posted if needed, just have to find the link again), and also info that UK took over the remaining orders from France (Grumman G-36, Martin-167 and 187 bombers, DB-7s, Hawk-75 and 81, LB-30, Lockheed-322 etc. etc.). however what i'm interested is what separate purchases (intended or followed through) the UK made during this period (before the armistice), i can think of Hudsons (how many exactly, wiki* says 370 MkI and II, presumably ordered in 1938?) and the planned 300 Re-2000 from Italy plus the well known NA-73 contract for 320 raised to 620, also there seems to be information about joint purchases with France (?), would be interesting to see some figures regarding the UK purchases for this period, and also for the period up to December 1941 if possible, all i have is just a wiki list, but no numbers at all.

* I fully realize wiki is perhaps not the best or more accurate source, though it is of help of course.
Or if there's a link somewhere detailing all the aircraft (and not only) purchases from US and Lend-Lease figures up to 1945 by type/version/year/receiver, that would be even better. I know there's even a book about all this (purchases and Lend-lease from US i mean), unfortunately it is out of my reach at the moment.
Thanks.
