-What does 'proportionally' mean?
Per sortie flown? Per ton of bombs delivered? Per mile flown? As a percentage of aircraft despatched? Over the same 1943-5 timescale?
Meaningless statistic there.

73 years ago today the finest 4 engined bomber flew. The rest is history.
