Very boring but mainly tokens in our family as we all enjoy the anticipation of what we might use them for!;)

The first (new) series of Doctor Who on DVD.

Watching that shows just how awful it has become since Eccleston's departure.

Started to watch the relaunched series with my grandson originally but it left me cold. Don't know why they bothered other than to boost their ratings and earn money from overseas sales by spending huge sums on publicity and marketing.

Hello all, I hope you were treated/treated yourself and enjoyed it. I was lucky enough to get the Haynes 109 users manual, Spitfire Mk1 by Andy Saunders, and the most wonderful half hour with my youngest son at Sleap, viewing circuit traffic from the viewing area. Everything just came together, the weather, my frame of mind, and the sight and sound of a Spanish marked Jungmann.

Bumblebee, lucky you. I received a hard back copy of Empire Of The Clouds. Although I have already read it the paperback copy falls apart very easily (mine was in a sad state by the time I finished reading it) so this is a suitable replacement for my library. Also receive dvd's of the first two Hunger Games movies.

I gave my grandson a RAF Sector watch based on the famous clock. He was delighted and it will become a talking point at school.

As I'm from overseas (and have never seen Dr. Who), my immediate question was: who's Clara? Thank Heavens for the Google-Age! I must get that Christmas Edition set!

A HobbyMaster 1/48 scale diecast model of the P-51 "Petie 2nd" (to go with the 1/48th scale Spitfire MkIXb, MK320 VL-F, of No 322 (Dutch) Sqdn RAF and Mustang III, FZ190 of 441 Squadron RCAF) and a copy of Silver City Airways by Keith Dagwell...

I did ask for Clara but am still nursing the lump on my head from the low flying frying pan....

My father gave me a copy of The Spitfire Story by Alfred Price, and I picked up a copy of German Aircraft of World War 2 in colour by Kenneth Munson.

I still say Ace was the best assistant the Doctor ever had.

Hope you enjoy it Meddle, I found it a very good book.

Yes, I would have agreed with you, but in later years she turned up as Bergerac's draggy girlfriend. Totally expunged all the good work done by the toned muscles and short leather skirt.

My favourite will always be Sarah Jane.

Well that's one of the advantages of missing Bergerac, so my memories are intact and unblemished!!;)
