R1155? ..not uncommon - there have been a dozen or more on eBay over past 2 or 3 months. In clean condition and working £100--£200.

You're very lucky if you come across an unmodified one complete with DF circuits at that price nowadays on ebay!
More likely around £300,

A quick trawl of the past 3 months on eBay reveals at least half a dozen sold between £100-£200...some in working order , some not stated.

I think you'll find that most of them have the usual amateur 'improvements' made when they were readily available in the surpus shops - removal of the DF circuitry and installation of a mains power supply being very typical. Complete unmodified examples are much harder to find.

And that one has certainly been messed about with Andy. You can see an S-meter just on the right hand side of the magic eye and some of those controls are later additions. I'm pretty sure that it's the one that was on ebay a couple or so weeks ago for a silly price but it looked in even worse condition than mine, which is saying something!
