Thanks, Trolly Aux, for asking your colleague.

-Hi Kuno.
Just spoken on Skype to my mate in Baku, he said stay away from any aviation related site (military) they will arrest you and chuck you in jail if they catch you and especially with a camera !!!!
He said you do see alot of An2's and Hinds flying around anyway.

-Thanks, Trolly Aux, I have already expected something like that.
Sad. I may have to visit the carpet-museum instead then... :-(

-Back from Baku.
Whilst looking at some Petroglyphes a number of An-2 flow past - for me an amazng view to see these old aircraft still in operation (here in Switzerland we have 5 to 6 of them but they are not in commercial operation). I don't think that these An-2 were military since they were painted only in white color. They landed at the base of Sangchal directly at the coast next to some oil-facilities.

Would anybody know, if there is a military/aircraft museum in Baku or its surroundings? I did not find something like this yet... but maybe somebody here knows more. Many thanks in advance.
