Oh yes. They mean business. Don't you know that 'taking offence' is a major growth industry. Just this morning someone accused me of looking at them as if they were members of the SNP. As if I would.

Much more of this and there'll be a clear danger of bringing homosexuality into disrepute.

Hi All,
I am pretty open minded as regards peoples sexuality until that is forced on me I believe that people can be how they like in their own space so long as it doesn't involve me or intrude in my life. My daughter has gay friends (Males) pleasant enough guy's and can talk on any subject just like I do with heterosexuals, but when I see story's like this it is just pushing PC to far. How far do you take PC 'I am not aloud to think:- I do not like A/B or C because it may offend some random person who just happens to think it was intended to offend certain peoples Sexuality/Race/Religion/Faith etc.etc.etc. Doesn't the word [homophobic]quote from the article below say it all ? "Mr Tucker added that he and his partner feared the "homophobic" sign would be “subject to frequent vandalism and possible theft.”
To me they added the [frequent vandalism and possible theft] as an after thought just to fill out their complaint instead of just asking why the council named the road the way they did, why not ask for the 'S' to be taken off I couldn't see any problem with that that's just being sympathetic to their worry about the sign being homophobic, but then to get the papers involved and a local MP sticking his oar in just to appease the PC brigade is a disgusting misuse of his position, the two morons are just causing trouble simply because they do not like the name and what others may think, it's not up to them it's the local council who named the road and it's the council who will either take action or just tell them as they should to stop being such stirrers.
This article say's more about the two pillocks attitude towards others rather than the rights of minority groups and just makes a mockery of the main objective of people being accepted for what and who they are, it does nothing for them only for retards who would enjoy seeing articles like this and only advertises the fact that homosexuality is still not accepted by all, while a few who cannot get past the barrier will get enjoyment from this ridiculous story of two insecure people who live together as partners nothing more. :apologetic:

Unless there's more to this than the report in the paper it's bloody sad and stupid. Tolerance and respect yes, whining at being "offended" no.
These fools have done the cause of equal rights and tolerance harm with this. Idiots.

Hi All,
Charlie,
See what I mean about an open mind no matter how preposterous something sounds, the truth is out there you just have to sort the wheat from the chaff then dig deeper than what the story is, but I an glad we can agree on some things matey......:D

No we differ, Geoff - I am open minded until what I am addressing is patently preposterous!!:D

But we can agree about these two pillocks, for sure......;)

Every time I go to the museum there it allows me to make a very juvenile comment to my driver.
Lovely place though.

You should try Gaydon (nothing to do with a university); it, too has a non-aviation museum.

Retards such as yourself then, who feel the need to post two word-stew paragraphs on the matter? :applause: You must enjoy this sort of thing to some extent, no?

On the subject of insecurity, surely the best response to a story like this is to simply say this has nothing to do with me, I shall move on. Two paragraphs of Daily Mail (the 2nd best paper in the UK) comments section copy pasty tends to suggest that this article appealed to you in certain other areas. :dev2:

Code 5 of forum rules seem to be out the window now. Perhaps Moggy when he wakes from his afternoon nap will give his advice on this.
