Last Saturday, a group of Scramble editors paid a visit to the homebase of the R.Neth AF Historic Flight, Gilze-Rijen airbase. We were highly impressed by both the enthusiasm and the professionalism of this group of volunteers.
Many thanks for showing us around !

Thanks for posting these - the trainer scheme on the Harvard and the Fokker S-11 brings back happy memories of the examples owned by the Strathallan Collection back in the 70s and, I think, both still airworthy(Harvard ex B-97 and S-11 ex E-31)

What a lovely bunch of machines, thanks for sharing! The Beaver in particular looks really good.

That explains it. And what a great job they've done! I've never seen a Dutch Beaver.

I just realised that could be taken the wrong way...

I take it the B25 is ex Dukes of Hazard?

Nice Beaver!

Beavers are always nice, they're de Havilland.

B25 is ex Duke of Brabant Airforce. DoB merged into RNLAF Historical Flight a couple of year's ago. Dukes of Hazard used Dodge Chargers! That's a different story.

It is indeed ex-HD346 NO-V 'Lotys II' which has been operated by the Dukes since 1990 (25 years ago!)
