Well after all the naysayers, it seems 37+89 should be on English soil about now. Was noted road running Netherlands yesterday. I have posted photos on all the fb sites I am on but sorry this sites system beats me!!

That seemed logical but with no permission to fly the Buccaneer or Su22 it doesn't make much sense to obtain an F4 for HHA?

If they need to fly either (i.e. they get a contract) it will be under the MAA on UK military serials, so permission will be granted on that basis by them. So far, they haven't had a contract that required either.

Indeed the reason for getting the F4 might be because in the post-Haddon-Cave era, MAA would be reluctant to let the Su fly (Look at the issues the RAF had with their RC135). An F4 with a much more established history and maintenance chain might be better

I've seen reports that 37+89 will be a spares ship for a later flying aircraft

38+48 to be roaded from Jever to Wittmund. Serviced test flown then to UK. Possibly in a "Scheme"? Oct/Nov. But what do I know previous thread on this subject widely questioned.

If the MAA accepts the safety case for the aircraft .

You seem to have some sort of an axe to grind bravo24. Is there or is there not an airworthy F-4 coming to be operating in the UK?

Who would have thought that hangar would be used for F4s again :)

If we get Waddington back hopefully it will be in the static park and we get to see it arrive and depart...

Do any of the other Scampton-based private FJs do airshow appearances?

The last time the HHA Hunter appeared at Waddington was 2010, and that was probably the last time they will.
