-I've just witnessed a short display by a clipped wing Spitfire AD-V over Boscombe Down! :DDid anybody else see it?
Ummm...
Codes 'AD-V'?
Could it have been the recently restored MK.V 'Mable' EE602 'DV-V', which made it's first flight a few weeks ago, but now fitted with clipped wings?
Cheers

-Hi. Yes I did, it arrived from the north over Bulford at 20.00hrs and did about 3 or 4 flypasts of Boscombe Down airfield. Don't know what the event was, probably an officers mess dinner night. It then departed to the north in the Netheravon direction.
