In reply to the original point of the thread. Any kitchen you turn my wife loose in with a pork joint is a good place to be. I landed on my feet by marrying her as she's an ecellent cook and I do like my food.

Pork is a delightful meat to cook. As it cooks itself with its own fat.
Pork eaten in moderation in all temperate climates is healthy and the point I am making is that all this PC nonsense about pork being unclean and bad, we have become slaves to is coming from people who aren't from temperate climates.
Sod their nonsense:mad: and I eat pork whenever I choose to.

I heard on the radio the other day Chas, that Auntie B is slashing the numbers of employees, as they say fewer people are buying T.V. Licences, no doubt many repeats may be just one of many reasons as to why.
