Last plastic mockup was presented in India in 2004.
Does not exist, never went into hardware, Novator tried to interest the VVS and the IAF two decades ago, never went anywhere.
And careful, those claimed ranges (250 mms...) on evolved variants of the R77 are silly.

It can do 400 km, with more trajectory adjustment. and combination of aircraft kinematics. Speed+Altitude will add like 30% more range add trajectory and youll have your 400 km.
The only risk is of course the Su-57 might need to go supersonic which increase infra red signature.

The R-37M can fit perfectly into the large T-50 compartment and has a range of at least 200 km. (300 km at launch with MiG-31). "izd.810" will fill the entire free space of the compartment and will receive a range of 400 km

There exist zippo evidence that R-37M will be fittet for internal bays on Su-57.
A very few reports said it would in time be mounted on latest Flanker.. that is if they ever order large amount of em. First the missile will need to clear state trials, not a small feat that alone.
Just becauae it might fit phycically inside S-57, does not mean it will so. There are exaust plume issues, software, and launcher adaptor requirements.. the list goes on.

They still have the metal tubes sticking out by the cockpit. Will production aircraft have stealth version of those or not have them and use pressure sensor instead?
I guess no. Russians really does not give much fuk about stealth. So if even F-35 has that tubes, so Su-57 would have them too.

The logistics of supplying a mixed fleet during wartime conditions will be easier the more missile types that the Su-57 can use.

@ haavarla
There were zippo factual evidence that ANYTHING could be launched from the Su-57 weapons bay until few weeks ago.
Still until the beginning the possibility to carry long range A2A missiles in the weapon bay was considered one of the main requisite of the whole program.
And understandably too as the tactical convenience of coupling VLO platform with long range missiles in order to ger rid of enemy AWACS is quite evident.

Marc@ The missile launched in Syria(it sound like u ref to this), has been mention a looong time ago, like in MAKS 2011 or 13.
The R-37M on PakFa? Nevah heard of it.
But u could ofc supply us with any sources..

Yes ofc. I,m not dismissing the logic behind this.
But as i said, first Finish State trials, the produce enough for the Mig-31, yes?
It woild fit nicely on Flankers, Su-34 even. On most harpoints, no sweat.
But int on PakFa? How baout thos Fins? Is even there any seperation tests? Nevah heard anything
Orher weapons have been mention for many moons ago..

Thanks Paraly for the schematic drawing of the R-37M (RVV-BD) and the new Izd. 810 inside in the Su-57.
In fact there are several mentions that the R-37M (RVV-BD) could equip the Su-57, however there are some aspects that should have been considered about such mentions, since there are not confirmation that the R-37M will enter in production to equip the MiG-31BM, as well as details of this version of the R-37M that has been testing for several years, after all this new version would be an improved and lighter version of the R-37M
The R-37 had been designated as Izd.610 in the 1980s, just as the R-37M came in 1997. So this supposed version of the R-37M should have been received such new designation to avoid some confusing with R -37M from the 90s.
Perhaps the central point should be that the R-37 had been developed for the MiG-31M, and it did not go into production and as well as its program were canceled in 1994. Since then it has been mentioned that second generation that emerged in 1997 as R-37M would equip the MiG-31BM, modernized version of the MiG-31B/BS, which in fact so far has not been realized after all these years.
Thus it seems nebulous that such third generation from R-37 would have been tested to equip the MiG-31BM, and in reason of that could equip the Su-57 until the development of Izd.810 will be complete in the near future , after the Su-57 were into serial production.
Due to those details such possibility is: it would not be the R-37M that has been completing the final trials phase, but the new Izd. 810, since the beginning of the PAK-FA program in 2002, the PAK-FA has been expected to be equipped with a new long-range air-to-air missile. The R-37M program could have been revived even years 2000 to serve as a basis for the development of the new Izd.810, just as the R-37M final trials would be mentioned now to obscure the new Izd. 810.

Such a shame that the Novator KS-172 never went into production, all that leaves Russia is just the R-37M.

In which any event should be a great missile.
If its as good as they claim.. way better than R-33 they said

Though the R-37M may turn out to be a good missile given time, I still think that it lacks the 400km range of the Novator missile.

R-37M will be mounted external on Su-57.
Chances are it will not come at high Mach.

P/S tubes are going to be on every aircraft, well because, knowing altitude and indicated airspeed is important.
An air data boom on prototypes is part of testing.

Tell me you’re joking. KGB contributed nothing useful.
As for Su-57’s long range missile, it’s not the R-37M but the Izd.810. Whether they’re related or not is not certain.

That is one big missile Paralay, I have seen pictures of the R-33/R-37 family before but never from as close up as this.
