You're right, the three built by Avspecs and the Bob Jens Mosquito C-FHMJ (VR796) in Canada - but it hasn't flown since 2015 (and has been rumored to be for sale). Steve Hinton has time on three of the four.

O.K. then four if you count the Bob Jens Mosquito C-FHMJ (VR796) but like stated has not flown since 2015 which it makes it a potential to fly IMPO. Apologies I should of added currently flying, which is such a shame after all that effort to make VR796 airworthy again....:rolleyes:.

Hi All, Seafuryfan - I have just been on they're page and thought odd nobody had published the following considering how good this particular aircraft looks.
Our big week at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh culminated in the Warbirds of America awards dinner on Saturday night. Congratulations to all the talented members of our great team. Grand Champions! Also, a huge thanks to Rod Lewis and the Lewis Air Legends team for making this possible........:eagerness:
Well deserved! Congrats to the team.
I had a chance to look it over at Oshkosh.It's as magnificent as you'd imagine.
It wasn't the only DH to win an award. The DHC-1 Chipmunk I'm partnered in won "Best primary trainer" I was chuffed!
