Compton Beauchamp maybe? 'Compton' is undoubtedly not the correct/full location name.

Does anyone know the identity and fate of the C47 that used to be visible from the London to Swindon train in the early 70's?
The only reference I can find is in Wrecks and Relics eighth edition, which has it located at Chapelwick Farm near Compton.
