I am looking for an image showing an Air Ministry Tee Handle pull fitted to British aircraft. Anybody out there?

Believe it or not my grandfather's 1929 Humber tourer, crudely converted to a station wagon, had one fitted to the dash board.

The bullet hole in the rear door suggested possible active service at some point in its life. :)

I guess that was what the sprig of lucky heather was for that seems to be tucked into the inner wing :)

The technical term is 'Racing Slicks'. ;)

This was a different age and before the 10 year MoT test introduced in 1960.

TonyT. Can you please contact me on a different matter, The PM system problems with this revised site have yet to be sorted.

Asked this previously on our thread, has anyone got a complete assembly going spare that they'd be prepared to part with for our Stiring?
