It looks like the C-47 N150D "101st Airborne Tribute" is now on its way as well, having left Oshkosh and heading to New York right now. The owner of the aircraft had it restored by Basler over a two-year period (close to 40,000 man hours) in order to have it ready for the D-Day 75th anniversary/"Daks Over Normandy" (completely rebuilt wings, restored/repaired fuselage and center wing section, overhauled landing gear and fuel tanks, new wiring and plumbing, avionics, etc.). It was just completed back in March.
This brings the total of DC-3's/C-47's/C-53's from the US, that are currently on their way to the UK, or have already arrived, to 14. The 15th, C-41A N341A "Hap-Penstance", appears to be near to starting its journey soon.
"Miss Montana" is currently also in the air right now, heading to Greenland.

Update for this evening:
"Miss Montana" is now at Kangerlussuaq, Greenland (if you go to their Facebook page, they have an impressive video from the cockpit of the approach and landing, dealing with the unpredictable winds there at Kangerlussuaq).
The DC-3 N18121 and C-47 N150D (#13 and 14 for the crossing) are now both at Presque Isle, Maine.
The Hap Arnold C-41A N341A (#15) made a test flight with crew training in California today, and it will be setting off on the journey east tomorrow (Sunday). She's freshly polished and looks amazing!

Yes, scheduled maintenance cycle - spark plugs, compression checks, oil change, etc. The "Night Fright" restoration team at Coventry were kind enough to provide hangar space for this to be carried out.
The Hap Arnold C-41A N341A (#15 for the crossing) is starting its journey from California this morning. The plan is to get as far as Gary, Indiana today, with a fuel stop at Denver, Colorado.
Following the "Daks Over Normandy" events, many of the DC-3's/C-47's will be going to Germany, from June 10-18, participating in flights marking the 70th anniversary of the Berlin Airlift (the last flying DC-4 outside of the US, ZS-BMH based in South Africa, is planning to participate as well).
At least six of the DC-3's/C-47's will be going to Italy from June 21-23.
Then, in late July, they're going to try and gather back as many of them as possible, again, for the Oshkosh airshow.

It left Oakland at 1.25pm today & is due to land in Rock Springs, Wyoming around 7pm. Currently cracking along at 182mph @ 13,200ft
Yes, a bit of a change of plans then what had been mentioned on Facebook by one of the team members yesterday. Great to see them on the journey now too!

The C-47 N24320 "Miss Montana" (#12 for the crossing) made it into Prestwick today.
At present, the C-47 N150D "101st Airborne Tribute" (#13) is flying direct from Goose Bay, Canada to Reykjavik, Iceland. This being the C-47 that just came out of restoration in March. Even though it is registered in the US, it appears the owner is based in Switzerland (it is registered to one of the names/trustee groups that allows for the aircraft to be registered in the US but be based in another country).
The DC-3 N18121 (#14) just landed at Narsarsuaq, Greenland.
N341A (#15) made it as far as South Dakota last night - not sure if they'll be able to continue east today or not, as there is a big weather system over Minnesota and Wisconsin, but maybe they'll skirt south underneath it.
I am hugely, hugely, looking forward to seeing these all next week. It's going to be emotional - Dad used to talk about the skies being full of aircraft, and I wish he was here to see it - but still looking forward to it.
I noticed N877MG this morning on FR24, doing a local trip. Following the coastline south from Prestwick, out and around Ailsa Craig, and then up past the south-east of Arran and back in to Prestwick.
Now on it's way in to Duxford having gone down the west side, over Manchester Airport.
Meanwhile N150D looks like it is heading into Wick from Reykjavik.
That just leaves the Hap Arnold C-41 left to cross the pond, and no doubt due to the storm systems in north America over past few days, that has just set off 20 mins ago from Winnipeg. Not sure where its heading for, I suspect it won't make it all the way to Goose today, its still got a LOT of Canada to cross. Might be looking at making Greenland by Friday afternoon, so likely Prestwick or Wick by Sunday all being well, and Duxford on Monday?

341A filed for Moosonee (Southern end of James Bay). It *could* make it to Goose today, but I'd guess they won't try. That would add another 800+ miles to the 800+ they are already flying.
Edit: Just landed a few minutes ago. it's 1.50pm local time there. At this rate it might not get to Dx until Monday or Tuesday
