That is an amazingly equipped shop.
What a huge investment in time and resources to have all that capability.
I wonder how many people work for him?

How many people who marvel at the spectacle of historic aircraft in the air, even those who regard themselves as knowledgeable on the subject, are aware of what goes into maintaining the engines that keep them in the air; I'm guessing it is a tiny fraction of a percentage? The men that maintain these engines never get the credit that they deserve and, as time goes on, those with the essential knowledge and skill will decrease in number until there is nobody left...

...tragically, while I watched this video, all I could think about was who will continue this work in the future?

Also.....anybody else panic when they balanced that cylinder overhanging the edge of the bench...

...I'm breaking into a cold-sweat just thinking about it!

That top shelf certainly contained some 'expensive' stories.

Not here, heads are a lot heavier than barrels! ;)

A wonderful tour of the world of big radials. It was good to see two great photos of the Dutch B-25 on his wall of fame!
