Looks like they are going direct to Iqaluit, about 550 miles. The Windy website indicates favourable winds.

Planefinder seems to pick the Spitfire up here and there - present position about 170 miles ENE of Iqaluit, proper landfall about halfway between. Oddly it's not showing some of the nearby airliners that FR24 is, FR24 doesn't show the Spitfire or the PC12.

I'm disgusted with trying to follow this Spitfire's flightpaths via any of three different sites. That is, with any sense of trust. The forum will be my source of info.
The Live Tracker sometimes works, and sometimes, frequently, it fails miserably. Currently, for me, it shows that G-IRTY is on the ground at Iqaluit, which, I think, is accurate.
Flight Aware software currently shows that the last G-IRTY flight, on 9 August, was a circuit in and out of Reykjavik! Joining this site makes no difference in the accuracy of displayed info.
Flightradar24, which Mark12 uses successfully, indicates, for me, that G-IRTY is in western Greenland at Kangerlussuaq!
And I'm supposed to believe that cars can drive themselves already? When technology works, it is great, but...

G-IRTY is at Iqaluit unless she sneaked out! Has shown up on Planefinder a few times on the ground. I'm wondering if the weather has been a factor again?
Surely a human being with a smart phone can type a few sentences ,Leaving x today.Turned back ,bad weather, landed at x 09-00 etc , that took 5 seconds.
Apparently still at Iqaluit, but went up for a jolly earlier today (14th). It should have been at Ottawa 3 days ago & is 4 stops behind schedule... However, it was supposed to be at Ottawa for 4 days so if they pull their finger out they could get back on schedule. At this time I'm not confident it will show up where I live on the 25th.

I don't know how accurate Windy's forecast is but looks like they should get a break today.

Is this the first time a Spitfire has flown 'the Atlantic' well via an Atlantic Crossing Route?

Indeed - how many hours twiddling thumbs in the air between stops will the support crew spend?
Anyhow, since my last visit to the SS page flight tracker they appear to have changed it?

Flightaware is still showing this crap
"This flight is restricted from public view."

Landed at Schefferville, about 3/4 distance, after a few orbits - presumably weather again.
ZRX61, it seems to show up ok on Silver Spitfire's own tracker and on Plane Finder.
