Have heard very good things about the Crosby Victory show. Maybe somebody can answer a few questions.

Mention on the website is made of private aircraft landing, where is the landing strip located, does it form the display line for the flying and what number of visitors are expected
Do any of the listed warbirds operate from the landing strip and are they viewable prior to takeoff. What direction is the landing strip and what direction do the public face.
I am also interested in the military vehicles, re-enactors and demos, do these take place at the same time as the flying display.
From previous shows what is access and traffic management like, there seem to be some strange car parking restrictions, is a site map available.

Sorry for the questions but looking at the website I could not find any answers.

Hi
Its a great show .On the shows web site under vistor information is a bit called flying.Clicking on this brings up another site showing a picture of the show ground.
The grass strip is to the left of the picture and is south to north.
The people can to most of the strip.Only a small bit of 01 and 19 are you not able to get to the fence.
The last couple of years a small bit in the middle as a VIP you can not past in front or behind this .Its not a problem you just walk in the show ground.
Not really seen a great lot non airhow planes.
The warbirds do land and take off from the strip including the Dc3.
The battle site is to the side of the runway at the south end.
The warbirds are parked your side of strip. They may are be a small charge to get up close to walk around them.
The Dc3 is parked in a small bit on its own and you can walk around the front and for small change go inside.
Some times the battle does have air support. One or two planes. Depending on space some of the warbirds could be parked in front of you .
One of the exit tracks runs at the end of north end of the strip .So no exit well displays are taking place.
My memory says most the landing take place 01-19 and the take offs the same but its up to wind.
The only time when traffic to my mind was bad was when a big jet bomber was due to display.
I hope is as answered your questions ,Any more please ask.

Cadman see the link, the runway is shown to the left of fox farm across the road, to the left of the runway next to croft road is a big field, this is where the tank battle is held, the field further up and in the wood ashpole spinner to the left are where they do the static tank displays and ww2 campsites, the hedgerow / fence line on the right alongside the runway above the big battle field is the crowd line.
