As soon as the video started I thought "I bet that's TE308"
First time I saw it was Oshkosh 1984. Last time was Geneseo 2007. less than a year before Bill had that unfortunate mishap (through no fault of his own ).
I was so sorry to hear that Bill was selling it, regardless of how good the new home is.

And there you have it!
Somebody on this forum moaning about "another two seater"
That's part of why I said I was sorry to see it leave North America.
Canada (a land mass that is larger than all of Europe) has precisely ONE Spitfire which is flown with any regularity.
The number of people who would complain, about a two seater being based here would be zero!
