Ian compared to the P51 blast tube you found at Llandow the metal in this P47 is thinner but considerably longer at ca. 36 inches long

Just arrived from a river in Normandy a P47 blast tube.
Part numbers are 100% correct.
Just a bit beaten up due to interaction with terra firma.
N.B. confirmed that it is not considered a weapon under current guidelines.
