-I can't help with a 1977 image but I do have one taken at White Waltham on 19 June 1979. The only trouble is that it's monochrome - and the Camel is on a trailer with its wings derigged and slung alongside it. The trailer is hitched to a Ford Escort van and, down the years, I've often wondered whether an Escort had enough power to pull the loaded trailer! Anyhow, if that image is of interest to you, please send me a PM, with your e-mail address, and I'll let you have a copy.

-I may have photos of the Camel at White Waltham after the Leisure Sport replicas displayed at Farnborough (can't remember the year) and possibly photos of it when the replicas were on display at Southend when Harvestair were looking after them which would have been around 1980/81 at a guess.
They are buried in a huge box of photos but I can try to find them if they are likely to be of help.

-Thank you both. I am not sure that the trailered photo would suit the article Avion Ancien, thanks anyway. But I am certainly keen to see the Farnborough and Southend photos if you can find them please, WJ244. My email is dave_daasnz@hotmail.com
Thanks!

Hi all, does anyone happen to have any photos of the Leisure Sport Flying Circus-operated Sopwith Camel replica G-AWYY with the Warner Scarab engine in or around 1977, when it was flown at airshows by the late Brian Lecomber?
I am looking for a photo to accompany an article, if you have one please.
Cheers,
Dave
