-Excellent models, Allen.
I have also had a fair few arrive in the post lately, but have misplaced the digital camera so cannot post any photos!
My Thai Airways MD-11 (Dragon Wings) arrived from Bangkok in good time and is a nice little piece. With postage, that cost about £16.
My C-17 (Gemini Jets), Thai Airways 777-200 and Airbus A300 (Dragon Wings) arrived from somewhere in the USA as well. The Thai 777-200 is the biggest load of crap ever... very very tacky indeed! The others, especially the A300, are great.
This morning, I received my Dragon Wings United Airlines 747-200 in the orange, red and blue colour scheme. Brand new from ebay at the pricely sum of £4.99! Excellent quality model with which I am most impressed!
Still waiting on my Lauda Air 777-200 which cost me about £5.50 from ebay. MAde by Gemini Jets, so must be a good one!
Finally...(!!) I am waiting for my top notch Thai Airways 747-400 in the Star Alliance colours. I saved only a few pounds on the RRP, but am still chuffed with my purchase anyway!
That's it for now though!

-Speaking of models... is anybody planning to go to the Luchtvaart Hobby Shop summer festival on Friday 21 May? Looks like there might be a few bargains to be had there.

-You've got me started now too, Alan...
My first Gemini arrived last week
And these two should currently be winging their way towards me, too...

It's coming from Hong Kong, I'll chase it up on Monday I think, having checked the seller's feedback it seems he's had two other lost in the post complaints and doesn't seem too bothered about replying to queries.
Those three models pictured at the top came from a dealer in Taiwan some 6 days after I ordered them !

Hi,
Like I said with my models, my Thai MD-11 came from Bangkok and got to me almost 2 weeks to the day after winning it on ebay. A couple of months back, I also got a batch of models from New York. I paid on the Friday and they were with me on the Monday!
Also, as for the 1/500 Herpa models, I have seven. I would recommend Star Jets and Big Bird models for your collection - both are excellent. I don't rate Herpa too highly, simply because their models are tat. My Thai 747-400 was brand new and it looks not much like a 747 (!!), the wheels are not like the real mccoy and the wing is very loose.

-That United DC-10 you have pictured.. I have just bought a 747-100 in those colours, made by Dragon Wings. Cost me a mere £4.04 and it's brand new. At that price, you can't leave it!

About £11 all in on e-bay. There's a DW 727 available too in that livery. ;)

-Got some more yesterday, the long lost BA 757 from e-bay finally turned up. Must have been caught up in the West Drayton ATC fiasco (lol)... G-BPEJ
I also a Cargolux 744F and a Caledonian Tristar from a very good dealer in Ontario, Canada called www.thresholdaviation.net. The prices there are excellent thanks to the Canadian Dollar exchange rate and the guys are very friendly and helpful too...

-Ugh! that BA 757 looks rotten. The Blue is FAR FAR to bright.
Mind you, that cally tristar is absolutely stunning!!
