-Speaking about Ryan Air ....
Any news about Ryan Air and it's contract at Oostende-Bruges in Belgium. Didn' they have a contract with that airport? But not a single Ryan Air plane is seen on the airport since months. Are there any plans to fly again from this Belgium airport?

-Well I don't think Iberia and High fares go in the same sentence. They are consitenently cheap than Aer Lingus on all Spanish routes via MAD or BCN.They are also frequently cheapr than Ryanair on thier Ireland-Spain routes.

-Ryanair pulled out of Ostend a fair old while ago now, was only a 1 daily STN flight anyway.

Well, in fact they do, in regional airports, like mine, where it´s hard to get low fares, since there´s no any other airline making most routes. Domestic destinations are shared sometimes with AEA and JKK and have a shamefull deal to fix fares, in a way that they are usually denounced by the Competence Court for the bad habits. As fas as London is concerned...usually expensive, now not as much since Oporto is not far and Ryanair operates there. If you try to get an european destination via BCN....be ready to pay.
"No competence, no low cost fares".

That's right, but in there contract, it was wrtten that ther need to transport a certain amount of passengers in a period of several years (I think 3 years). But Ryan Air is not going to reach that amount if they don't fly at all. Would they bother to get a possible penalty?

-Dont know, havent read anything about a contract, they definitly pulled out a fair old while ago so if that is the case, maybe the penalty will be less than the amount they lost on their flights ?

-Excellent news - I'd definitely love to return to Santiago de Compostela. I assume this could have a potentially major impact on other airports in Galicia though (Vigo and A Coruna)?

Well, we will also have Ryanair in the my hometown airport. Yesterday the local authorities have signed an agreement for Ryanair to disembark here in april, with two destinations. Of course London-Stansted (bye, bye, Iberia high fares) and presumabely Frankfurt or Rome. So guys, you can come. More destinations in Spain at low prices. A link to our city newspaper today anouncing the deal. Sorry it´s in Spanish.
