-If I were to buy that it would be a jump for me - totally bypassing FS2004! I have alot of installed things on my FS and I would want to know that they would be compatible with the new version before I were to commit myself to it.

-Not for me.
I'll sit back and watch the reviews and the user boards for the first couple of months after it launches.
Luckily my copy of CFS3 came as a freebie or I'd have been really upset.
Rushing out to buy a programme on the fiirst day is madness as far as I am concerned.

-May be interested as a present for my other half, but being a woman, and not knowing about these things (although I did fly Concorde single-handedly from the stand at LHR to the stand at JFK), can you give any details on 2006, like
will it work with all that he already has for 2004?
will it work with all the terrain he's put on (think its VFR scenery or UK2000, not sure which he uses),
also and the most important...............
will it work with Altitude Concorde?
If yes to all this, count me in for a copy, please (and please put answers in simple terms as FS goes way over my head)

-I got a copy of FS2004 directly from Microsoft about 6 weeks before it was launched for review purposes - fingers crossed this will happen again next time around, but I would wait to see what hardware it demands before buying it....
To put this into perspective, I installed the latest version of Longhorn onto one of my PCs at home at the weekend, and it basically laughed at 1Gb of RAM !!!! I put another Gb in and then it worked fine.....now if that it the next OS, dare we think about the demands FS2006 might need? Scary!!! (of course, MS will tell us it will run on a P3 700 with 128Mb RAM!!! LOL!)

-Well i brought FS02, then brought FS04 and could see the immense improvements over 02 and i'm sure 06 will be even better. I will though wait for the reviews etc and see how it is but i probably will end up buying it.

-Now with FS2006 coming out soon (soon being this summer) I can purchase a quantity and then sell it on at cost price to everyone as if its retailing at £49.99 im hopefuly £39.99 would at least be achievable. Please post interest here so i can estimate what kind of size i order. Posting a reply wont be an obligation to pay or anything. Should also be able to post it out the day its released.
How do you know there's going to be a FS2006? Could be a con, gang!

-I'll be buying it the day it is released, just like I did with FS2004. Don't care what reviews it gives and can't be bothered being tight enough to wait a few months to save a tenner. Maybe I'll be disappointed, but probably not.

-I'll see what improvements are made on FS06 and I'll let the price drop slowly, then I'll buy it.. :)
That is a good strategy. I think I'll also do it this way. Wait a bit until the price goes down.
