Hello guys
Before you scramble to find out where this Lancaster is located, she didnt survive a disasterous fire while being prepped for a ferry flight to the USA. The Nanton Lancaster Society website has a nice tribute to this Lancaster on their website at the link below:

Sorry Cees. Our only Halifax that stayed here was scrapped soon after the war. Intersting though the centre section with midupper turret was intact for awhile? Wonder if its in a barn somewhere?

Interesting story, sad ending though. Pity things didn't turn out better for her as Lanc's that survived the ravages of war don't deserve to go like that.
