-Great pictures! Any idea what that may be in the window of your MD-11 FedEx picture?

-Excellent Dan!
Nice 767 reg, N767A. Who is the 757?
I arrive at STN @ 0810 in the morning, meeting some for breakfast then up to Duxford. I might take a few hours spotting on Sunday at STN before flying home.

That was one of my faves of the evening too! Close-ups on smaller aircraft seem to be much more fun.

The 757 was Titan's G-ZAPU.
What time are you planning to be at STN on Sunday? Check my site http://www.freewebs.com/stanstedspotting if you need to.

-I think some ground shots would be good.
Haha I suggest you come and visit STN and see why groundshots are so rare! And even in the very limited places that I have found to be able to get them, this time of year is impossible due to the heat haze. I'm afraid you'll have to put up with arrivals for the Summer (or until the weather cools).

Excellent evening at STN last night! Sun was in and out a little, but mainly out which is always promising. I took a ridiculous amount of shots (334) and so obviously will not upload them all. However, there are still a lot. I think even those on broadband may have to be patient.
If you're on dial-up and are patient enough to see them, then it's probably best you go and find something to do for 5-10 minutes.
I've managed to compress these to an acceptable limit (less than 100kb each) yet still kept them at 1024 pixels for your enjoyment.
I'm afraid it's mainly the usual traffic, but I used the good weather to try and make it as interesting as possible..
This first one was actually a go-around. I hadn't seen one at STN for 10 years, and then on my last 3 visits there has been one each time due to traffic on the runway.
