Hey,

Just wondering why there is a MAN-MAD flight operated by a Spanair MD-83 tonight? It came in from Cork an hour before it was due out to Madrid. I'm guessing its just a one off charter flight maybe?

AFAIK Spanair are operating flights to Ireland for Spanish students visiting the country, maybe this is the same for the Manchester flight?

I was only in Cork a couple of weeks ago and loads of Spanish students where there then so that could well be the reason.

Thanks for your help! :)

Ye Spanair have a heap of flihgt to MAD from DUB usually leavng DUB at about midnight and usually they are delayed about 1.5 hours. Just a few minutes ago I saw the A320 operating this flight coming into land. The amount of Spanish students visiting Ireland this year is incredilbe with the company who handles Spanair in DUB (not us unfortunatley) dedicating a desk solely for group check in.

Even an airlin who we handle Futura are carrying lots of students and FH are normally just Irish tourists.
