-Excellent shots Grey :)
I was at Stockport County today (Watching Stockport vs Bradford), and was amazed by the amount of a/c going over the stadium, never seemed to pay attention to the match!
Am I right in thinking a Yes L1011 departed MAN around 16:00 ish?
Cheers :)

-Nice Photos, the Zoom one is my favourite!
Is that L1011
CS-TMX or CS-TMP?
CS-TMX (Yes Charter)was doing a cover flight for Excel Airways today and
CS-TMP (Luzair)was doing a cover flight for Air Atlanta Europe today, both at Manchester Airport.
I do have flight numbers if anyone wants them, or you can visit: http://www.ringwayreports.co.uk/july05other.htm where the information is from.

-I said it was a Yes L1011 which means its the Yes L1011, not the Luzair one as pictured from above.
Thanks for confirmation :).

-I was not directing my question at yourself LBA.
Sorry for the mix-up.

-Oh sorry, the L1011 above is indeed CS-TMP.
Lance, the SSV operating on behalf of SCY, has also been doing at STN :).

-The Skyservice A319 with flight numbers today being SSV2262 and SSV2263 was operating for Air Scandic today. Even though it has been using the SSV code for the SCY flights.
The CS-TMP L1011 was flight no EUK66P/566V and departed at 13:18 operating for Air Atlanta Europe. It returned later in the day, arriving at 20:10.
EDIT: LBA, you beat me to it!

You indeed would have seen a lot of traffic, as most SIDs route over Stockport when they are using 06, except the LISTO SID going Southbound into London.

-Nice photos!! Were they taken @ the AVP - and if so, which runway was in use?? Just so I know as im planning a trip :)
By: 31st July 2005 at 18:40 Permalink - Edited 1st January 1970 at 01:00
-They were indeed taken from the AVP, aiuk. From a spot at the far end, by the fence just before the Manchester School Of Flying portakabins.
06 was in use at the time, but it's a good spot when 24 is in use too because most airliners will turn off runway 24R almost slap-bang in front of you on the taxiway that you can see below the forward fuselage of the Tristar. :)

Murky, gloomy, humid, the prospect of rain, light up and down like a yoyo. Was I downhearted?
You bet..... :(
Here we go, anyway.
Enjoy..... :D
