Each image takes about 30 seconds. I crop to 1800x1200 pixels. I USM them at this size, as it's much easier to avoid 'jaggies' at this size. Once sharpened I resize to 1200 pixels. Sometimes need a slight bit of extra USM. I then add saturation between 5 and 15. Add contrast between 5 and 10. Then go back to the levels histogram and balance the lighting in the shot. I then save at this size for uploading to the photo sites, and then resize to 1024 pixels for the forum.

-What a fantastic selection of photos and yet again the quality is amazing. I appreciate the Monarch photos too - very nice (you'd think I'd have had enough of them, wouldn't ya?!). My favourite, however, is the Aurigny - stunning photo that. :) :)

-Thanks very much Duesseldwarf and xpboy.
xpboy, I use a Canon 350D with 75-300mm lense.
USM stands for Unsharp Mask, just a method of sharpening on Adobe Photoshop.

My original plan was to put the rest of the MAN photos onto the end of my previous thread. But I think it'd fry even the most expensive modems on the market if I tried. So they're all gonna come together on here. May take a while, I hope you find it worth it. There's a few Monarch ones on here too for Dusseldwarf. And if you think this is enough, it's only a fairly select few!
