-The shot was taken on the 9th August. I asked a Monarch engineer who was dropping the engines and he said that the engines were owed to someone to cover a debt!!!! and that the fuselage was to be cut up. I am still to be convinced although it is an old machine but has only ever flown for Royal Brunai. I am due in the area on 5th Sept and will check it out again. The company dealing with it are to specialize in 146 water bombers!! and currently have G-JEBV in their hanger with severe corrosion problems and was recently rejected by FLYBE. It was previously in service with THY, also around the field are RJ70s YL-BAK,BAM,BAN all white with146 G-BVMP in Meridiana scheme. I am not sure whether these are to convert or just in between airlines.
