-Great news indeed but it could have been BHX couldnt it? Unfortunaltey they fell out and this will no doubt tkae more PAX from BHX.

-Not really Andrew, FR did have a few routes running from BHX in the past but I believe they pulled out and moved to NEMA over an increase in landing fees at BHX (correct me if I'm wrong). Shame really in that respect.

-Coupled with the announcement of LPL - LDY, one wonders if these are a pre-emptive strike by MOL (remember the rumour that EZY were showing an interest in LDY a few months back). It will be interesting to see if EZY revise their plans.
Either way good news for LDY and, although only one rotation per day, news which should worry BFS not a little particularly LPL which is their busiest route - remember MOL has been trying for years to operate from BFS, without success and for reasons we all know!

-LDY - it was recently he was threatening the council with pulling out if the runway didnt get extended and it hasent! Surprised at increase but LDY has a unique capture area given it is about 1hr 30mins to Belfast Intl Airport.
LDY will appear to ppl travelling from County Tyrone and Fermanagh (e.g. Omagh) as there is lake between them at BFS!

-Hi
I'm just glad that Donny (DSA) Did'nt get this New Ryanair base as roumored in the last couple of Months. It could have been really bad for Leeds/Bradford passenger figures & Jet2. Never mind Thomsonfly at DSA as well. They still have the place to themselfs.
I wonder if Ryanair got upto some old tricks here with a new base at EMA and with a roumored annoucement for a Base at DSA played the Two airport off against each other??

-Brilliant news for EMA, finally an airline there that are commited, EZY and WW dont seem to care about the place. What a great variety of destinations, wish they would start something like that at LBA!

-Good news for NEMA. Not seen much expansion recently
Surprised about Berlin. SXF will become Berlin's main airport soon, not a very FR airport. Or could it be stop EZY starting this route
Also no Reus, Pisa, Bergamo, Hahn, Charleroi, Skvasta - all FR bases

-moved to NEMA over an increase in landing fees at BHX .
The "increase" that they claim "forced" them to move will undoubtedly have been the end of the period of time when low charges were to be levied for starting a new route. Happened before at MAN when a low-charge scheme ran out and they had to pay the same going rates as other airlines.

-With NEMA being my local airport, I'm really pleased to hear this.
However, I still can't see that much call for all those bizarre French routes from here though. Some more Spanish routes would have probably gone down better!
Can anyone tell me where the heck Wroclaw is???

Some fantastic news for EMA here, some long awaited expansion?
