I'll be on a birthday mission to Dublin on the 18th/19th December, principally to take in a gig at The Olympia but also to do some snapping, which I guess will be on the 19th as I await my 2015 flight to Glasgow.

Any takers...?

Great price too... £30 return on Aer Lingus :D

Hmmm maybe let's see te prices shall we......

Ryanair
- £33.45

Aer Lingus
- £33.89

Not much of a difference there :D the idea of feezing weather puts me off though ;). When I went to the Dublin meet on the 6th July it was cold, overcast and sometimes rainy!

We have the same birthday, albeit it slightly different year :D

Don't think I can on the 19th (then again even if I could, would I want to? Freezing enough now in Setepmber never mind blooming December.)

Call yourself real aviation enthusiasts, yet can't bear the Winter cold!

I'll be sunning it up on the lovely shores of ACE on the 19th I'm afraid, plane-spotting/partying in style. Oops, I just shot myself in the foot didn't I?

I'd love to but I'm booked to Manchester on the 3rd and coming back on the 4th. Thats cost me (well my parents) 150 pounds.

If you're going to quote it then you may as well spell it "Guinness". :D

My anorak isn't thick enough and gloves are too thick to use the shutter button :D Last time I spent a winter's day spotting at Dublin I wasn't able to order my dinner in the restaurant, lips were frozen beyond use.

Unfortunately not, I am still at College on the 19th, and I have only just booked for February as well, shame, would have loved to have come :).

Allen,

Might be able to make it for a run down from Belfast in the car - at least that would give you somewhere to thaw out between snaps.

Won't really know until nearer the time, but if I can make it, take it as read I'll provide the shelter. Will PM you closer to the date if you're interested.

That's the spirit... cor when I were a lad we went spotting in winter with no shoes, ten Woodbine and a sarcastic expression to keep us going... :D :D :D

Yes, we didn't really have a choice at the DUB meet did we? wind and rain blowing in our faces. Must say we did get some strange looks standing there! :D
