Volar/LTE's fleet certainly has been looking a mess this summer with the name 'Volar' being dropped not long really after they changed their name from LTE. The airline now has 320/321's flying in all sorts of schemes, with some still flying in full Volar colours, others with no titles and the leased ones JY-JAR (all-white) and EC-JHJ in full myair.com colours.

Wonder why they've dropped the name 'Volar'? I kinda liked the name.

I thought Volar did go under? Then LTE tried to take over and now Volare are re-starting operations again?

EDIT: Sorry, I'm thinking of VolareWeb.com :o

Volare ( the Italian arm) went under. LTE/Volar continued to operate, and now are completely seperate from the Volare group.

Indeed, the fleet is a mess, always love seeing JY-JAR, after its 'incident' at LBA, JY-JAR seems to operate the FUE and ACE flights every week into LBA! At least it has since I started college up there.

I agree with Matt, the 4th one looks by far the best, I think the Volar titles are smart.

Wasnt it something to do with the original LTE being a subsidery of LTU Germany. I think LTU sold all / most of its interest and its name changed to Volar to represent the new private ownership?

By the way, Volare means 'To Fly' in Spanish.

I think your right. They probably then changed their name back to LTE after Volare.web stopped flights
