Nope - that image has just been straightened/curves ajusted/sharpened and increased saturation - !!!!!

Just wondering how long do you people stay at an Airport for .If i could drive i would spent all day at an airport lol :diablo:

-How close to the runway are you? How much zoom is required for a full frame shot? Would not mind to go there some day. :D

-From the AVP it's about 250m (looks closer!) to 06L/24R and about another 400m to 06R/24L
I've been using a 18-200mm (28-320 on digital), and this is fine for the aircraft taxiing along Alpha. To get decent landing / takoff shot I use my 100-400 (160 - 640 on digital) lens. The 100-400 is usless on aircraft taxiing as all you get is photgraphs showing you what the pilots name badge says!!!!
On thew southside I use the 18-200 all the time!

When I was playing with the saturation, I accidently moved the HUE slider, and thought...that looks good!!!!!

Spent a good few hours at the AVP today, the traffic levels seemed to have been doubled - loads of stuff some interesting some very interesting...(apologies for the last few shots,a s they started bringing them in on 06R and it was a bit hazy that far away!!)
And the winner of the most elaborate livery is.......not this one!
Souch a lovely aircraft
Petty about the state of the engines!!!
