Although I'm plane mad, I'm not a photographer. These pics were taken with a digital camera when I was visiting relatives in Auckland during the summer (although their cold winter :( ).

Some of them are still quite nice though, and gives the forum a bit of diversity. AKL has a nice 2 level outdoor parking area where you can watch the approach, however as there is only one runway - 23L/05R - there is no decent view off take-offs. Well, form that viewing spot anyway. Sorry they are not of the usual high quality displayed on these forums!

Thank you very much for the kind comments. It's the only shots I have I'm afraid - as I said not a photographer (yet) - but I'm glad people enjoyed them.

by the way, the A340-313X you shot (CC-CQA) was the one that suffered an incident with an aircraft tug in Auckland. Fortunately, the aircraft was ferried and repaired in Zurich and it has returned to Santiago last week.
