They're watching me again, aren't they?
Ahhhhhhh - that explains everything - AlphaOne (Manx) (2005) (watch this space) Ltd is in fact a front for a Special Ops Men in Black Unit:)

Hence the phone number rings out and there is no-where to book tickets.

Its Air America all over again !!! :)

I bet they have black stealth helicopters over your house right now, Lance - with video cameras pointing down your chimney recording your every thought :)

did you realise that "Martin Halstead" is an anagram of "halted martians"

Oooooooooo.....

Crowe Morgan would have to under take some form of due diligence on the applicants wanting to use their offices as a registered address,

Any client of theres could do this as it becomes a perk to using their facilities. I can name over 20 NI companies ive dealt with that are registered at their accountants office. In one case free office space was given to a client!

Actually no they can't, to comply with OECD regulation Offshore jurisdictions have to have a certain amount of anti money laundering legislation to which companies wishing to operate in that jurisdiction have to comply.

Crowe Morgan will be expected to vet their clients, and obtain certain documentation to confirm their identities and nature of their activities. It's not as easy as it is made out to be in the popular media to set up an offshore company. Granted it was going back ten years or so, but A1[Manx]Ltd was set up earlier this month.

All this compliance work cost's. The company that I work for charges in excess of £1,500 just to incorporate a company, on top of this there are statutory fees to be paid to the local authorities. I would expect this to have cost him about £2,500 to register in the IoM.

NI is not off shore, like the IoM.

AlphaOne was a good topic until all this business talk came up...

Sorry if this is a bit above the majority of your heads, however as a great few of you are quick to point out on other threads, you can always look else where, you don't have to read here.

Airlines are businesses, not just set up so that those of you who have an obsession with numbers and liveries can stand in the viewing area at whatever airport, going wooooo as yet another aerobus thunders into the sky to Ibiza.

I put up an objective thread to highlight the fact that this chap has spent a lot of money to keep his so call charade alive for whatever reasons. I would have posted on the existing Alpha 1 thread to keep it all together, but that thread was deemed to be unclean and had been closed down by the Commercial Aviation thought Stazi.

Thank you for proving what has been said over the past few months, namely that these forums have dumbed down to a point where there’s no point posting anything worthy of note.

Alpha One is an emotive subject, if this thread dies or is killed off, I’ll put money on someone from the forums raising the subject again after 7 November.

Works both ways you know Ian, you keep whining on about how the Mods are not doing their job properly but it isn't all one way traffic you know, if people spent more time keeping to the topic and less time trying to slate & run people down we "may" end up with adult, intellectual conversation, but as you well know there are some people who cannot help but to bend away, and when they are "moderated" they whine their head off and slate the mods, when really in actual fact the real problem lies closer to home.

Now what were we talking about again? http://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/rolleye/rolleye0011.gif

This thread has yet gone off topic and is closed. As this is the second time this discussion has degenerated to this level from now on topics or references to Alpha 1 are off. If you feel the need to discuss this go somewhere else.
