-This wouldn't surprise me as some of the F100's are getting rather tired. Some are rather dirty! Could see them replacing them with Embraers.

-None of the F50s have been painted yet. Starting next year the first F50s will actually leave the fleet.

I thought so as dirst exapmels have turned to a completely white livery.
And I like the idea of KLm colored EMBs.

-There is no replacement. Some routes will be axed, some will get F70. Some current F70 routes get F100s. As mentioned earlier more F100s are due to arrive. Another 3 ex-Merpati F100s have been ordered, and according to the gossip more F100s will be added as well.

Do you know what routes will be axed. Thats very good news that they are buying more Fokker 100 instead of getting rid of them thats made my day :D

-In the same article it is said that KLM does not intend to replace its short haul fleet by 2010. Personally I do not expect Rekkof to wait this long. On top of that, KLM has also stated (in a seperate article) that they would not be a launch customer. They first want to see Rekkof make a plane, and see if this plane then lives up too expectations.
Sorry, I am still very sceptical about this happening.

-KLM's cityhopper fleet is looking tired, however, I don't expect any replacement plans for some time.
From what I can gather, all the EMB talk is just rumour and the rekkof stuff has been around for ages - so probably won't change anytime soon.
Our business use KLM a lot and I've heard a lot of bad reports about the cityhopper reliability of late. How true this is I don't know, but on my last KLM trip my outbound cityhopper flight was cancelled due to technical reasons. All that said, I've always enjoyed my cityhopper flights and hope the Fokkers stay around for a while yet - just tidy them up KLM (in and out) and make them more reliable if possible.... ;)

-I've heard a lot of bad reports about the cityhopper reliability of late.Heard much the same myself. Some of the Fokkers bought second hand seem to be less reliable than normally. In particular the ex-Merpati planes, from what I've been told.

-Does anyone have a list of cityhopper's fleet alongside age of aircraft?
e.g.
PH-OFA - F100 - 1989 - Ex G-UKFA
etc..
etc..

Yes. They went back to the Fokker 50 for service DUS to AMS after using the Fokker 70 or even the 100 for a time. Hwoever they had many delays with the F100s.

Try this site http://www.ch-aviation.ch/aircraft.php Hope KLM keep their Fokker's in the sky for long long time.
