Hi,

I was deep in thought a moment ago and was wondering if Low Cost links between the UK and Africa were viable. Obviously LCCs prefer to run between Europe as it is cheaper and you have the freedom of flying between any two points within the EU, however it would still be possible to use the LCC biz model to fly cheaper than Legacy carriers into Africa.

I was thinking of Morocco, would it be viable to operate Gatwick to London, I reckon say a thrice weekly EZY flight would fill regularly, but was wondering on your opinions,

Cheers,

Wozza :)

Well i know Air Berlin fly to many North African destinations, but the German market is different to the UK market, so not sure how Loco's would fare on the routes
