Ah yes, but on AA it looks good, just can't imagine a silver AC aircraft, can you!?

No it doesn't really work for AC, does it?! ;) Can't see them trying it on the Airbii either.... ;)

 In my opinion... looks a right mess! You can't compare that with American's aluminum finish!

Anyone got Air Canada's address, might send some Silvo to them, with instructions on how to use it

Looks awful, I wonder what the passengers will say when boarding an aircraft with a bare fuselage! ;)

AA works, this doesn't.

Won't do much good to nervous pax.

Looks awful, how they can say it's for an aesthetic point of view as well I don't know. It doesn't matter how much they buff that, it'll still look like it's just been flamed.

the scrapping of paint from that 767 will make the aircraft around 160 kg less in wight.... if AC continues with this scheme and does that to all its 40 odd 767s, they will save well over $1.5 million a year.

Quite smart from AC i must say.

I don't know what's worse, tarnished metal or the bloody horrible spearmint livery

I doubt if the avergae joe passenger really cares what the cs is. AC have that big advantage on there side.

Well to be honest I like it, it's "unusual"! :D

You all say you don't like it but if you were at YYZ for example and that was on approach or taxiing out every spotter and photographer would leap out of their seats to catch a glimpse of that! :diablo:

AC are happy and least one member of this forum is happy! :dev2:  ;)

Seems like AC can't make their mind up regards colourscheme; imo engines would be better painted red and tail needs to be darker to stand out against unpainted fuselage.

They may save $1.5m a year, but they may also lose some of that with people leaving them becuase of the just-crashed-and been-rebuilt look

Yes it looks dreadfull, what were they thinking.
It works with A.A. because they were delivered new in bare metal. They spend a lot of time and money trying to keep the aircraft "Un-blemished" too. To get an A.A finish on an aircraft that has spent most of it's life painted will take an awful lot of effort.
BTW I was involved with a "newish" A.A. 767 during the summer. With the sun shinning on the bare metal fuselage, it hurt my eyes to look at it!!

Like that it doesn't look quite as bad, it shines more.

Has potential, but it would need to be done better then this. The plane is too dirty.

What's this obsession with the aircraft having to look shiny for? The airline is trying to save money and has found a very effective way of doing it by producing this very unique and unusual look - not spending more making it shine

looks Ok from a distant view, but horrid on a close up.

I hate the AA livery so I'll have to hate this also.
